The Hundreds for Immigration Reform, Against SB1070

Some of you may, or may not, know that this blog is run out of Phoenix, Arizona. Not only that but ran by minority natives of Phoenix, Arizona! The recent signing of Senate Bill 1070 has spread a wide blanket of oppression and fear over minorities in this state, possibly the country, whether undocumented or US citizen. Seeing people of all colors, ethnicity, and backgrounds stand up against the discriminatory laws and actions of Arizona has made me feel more than proud, and very hopeful for the humanity within the country. The Hundreds posts a video and photos on their blog of participants from the May Day rallies (may 1st) which brought 50,000 strong against SB1070 and for comprehensive immigration reform, check it out after the jump…

If you would like to do something to stand up against oppression, discrimination, and hate in this country add “Against SB 1070” on Facebook.

(Coolest guy ever? possibly)
