Today’s reigning king of street art, Shepard Fairey, teams up with Vinyl Toy company Strange Co. to release the fully 3rd dimensional, 100% play-withable version of “Mr. Spray”. A character designed as a 50’s homage to the graffiti roots of OBEY. A character making it’s first appearance in 2004, and a few years later released as a shirt-Mr. Spray looks to be A fun dude, with a rebellious smirk, and a pair of shell-toe Adidas. Bay Area streetwear shop TRUE released it’s “Sharpie” pack this past weekend. The pack contains tees, crewnecks, and fitted caps in new colorways and even a new customized sharpie marker. A monochromatic black & white color scheme with a contrasting “True”

The New Yorker weekly magazine embraces it’s shunned past of railway graffiti with a humorous cartoon. It was printed only a couple of inches tall on random pages of the book, but certainly made a much bigger impact. The illustrations depict a graffiti artists getting busted for tagging, having to paint over it, then getting right back out there to bomb again.
